Frankfurt Airport, known by its IATA code FRA and ICAO code EDDF, is a major international airport located in the Frankfurt/Rhine-Main region, the third-largest metropolitan region in Germany. It’s centrally located just 7 miles southwest of central Frankfurt, near the Frankfurter Kreuz where the A3 and A5, two of Europe’s busiest roads, intersect. Frankfurt Airport is the busiest in Germany and ranks as the 4th busiest in Europe, following London Heathrow, Paris–Charles de Gaulle, and Amsterdam Airport Schiphol.
